Monster tells the story of Lucky Singh who is unlucky in life. His only goal in life is to get into a girls pants and with humongous effort, he tries to woo Bhamini who is a serial killer. Her criminal background does not matter to Lucky Singh. But what shattered him to the core was the realization that she is a lesbian. Lucky Singh also claims to be a lesbian, but he is beaten up by Bhamini's partner Durga. It is revealed at the climax that Lucky Singh is none other than Agent X in disguise. It came as no surprise to audience as they have seen the exact same thing in Mohanlal's previous movie Aaraattu.
