Samuel Oliner was the only one of his family to survive the Holocaust. A Polish peasant risked her life to save him. For the last seven years, Oliner has been collecting stories from people who rescued Jews in the Second World War. It is a project inspired by a personal debt of gratitude and a desire to recover the light of human decency from the blackness of Nazi-occupied Europe.
