Leonor puts medicine in José Luis's tea to sedate him and treat his illness. The Echeñiques gather in the living room and share some good music. Suddenly, the boss begins to say ineloquent things and to fall asleep, a situation that is closely observed by Leontina. In the middle of a fight, María tells Buenaventura that she is going to look for another man and in return, she receives a threat that scares her. The next day, Leontina checks Juan Cristóbal's medical bag and confronts him, because she claims that he is medicating José Luis without her consent. The doctor ends up telling her that the fatigue he observed in her boss is due to the illness he suffers from. Leonor and Manuel meet in the forest and she discovers that he was attacked by Morena, starting an argument. However, that is not the worst, since the worker decides to confess to her that he and her husband are children of the same father.
