In this episode, his deputies deal with a wide range of cases you'll only see in Cajun country: Deputy Melissa "Catfish" Quintal, originally from Massachusetts, responds to the report of a nighttime voodoo ritual taking place in abandoned shed deep in the bayou; Deputy Paul "Highlights" Thibodeaux delves into a case of an ornery citizen who plans to take justice into his own hands after his air conditioner was snitched during a heat wave, and Sheriff Bourgeois and his entire team are on the hunt for an elusive drug dealer known as "Jesse James" that takes them all into the creepy, creature-infested swamps.
