American Idol finalist Danny Gokey is about to perform at the Grand Ole Opry, and his family is coming to town for the event. He calls on Pierce & Co. to help him transform a bare alcove into a warm and attractive breakfast nook that will be a comfortable gathering place for his loved ones. The design team works closely with Danny to create a colorful ensemble of furnishings, fabrics and wall art that perfectly captures the homey feeling he was hoping to achieve. Plus, a mom and her teenage son have just remodeled their home and the design team is asked to come up with a plan for turning a large, empty family room into the focal point of the home. The homeowner has a large painting that she wants to hang in the room, and using the colors in that painting as a guide, Jonathan and Brad create a color scheme for the room's furniture, paint and accessories.
