Simhasanam talks about Chandragiri Madhavan who is a one stop shop for all Kerala's political and economical problems. He does many things for heroism which turns out to be funny. Shaji Kailas, the master of mass films in mollywood made this movie claiming as an unofficial remake of "Naduvazhikal". But instead of remaking the film, he just copied the scenes and situations from various other movies including his own hit films.
