Kasperl and Sepperl are in great excitement, because the circus is in town. Personally commissioned by the circus director, Kasperl is supposed to look after Leopold the circus lion. But when the lion suddenly disappears from the box without a trace, Kasperl has a problem: either he succeeds in catching the circus lion again, or the performance has to be cancelled.
