A prisoner transporter is attacked in broad daylight by two men in police uniforms, the prisoner Kevin Schulz is freed and brutally beaten down by the kidnappers. When Alexander Bukow and Katrin König arrive on the scene, Kevin Schulz is already dead. In an attempt to apprehend the gangsters, a shootout ensues in which Katrin König is critically injured.
