Lisa and Simon Sharpe of Hadley Wood, Herts, need to reinvent their disorganized old living room. Having grown out of it, the Sharpes want to create a larger multi-functional space where Simon can work from home, the kids can play on their games console and Lisa can entertain her guests in glamorous style. Lisa is a self-confessed Kelly Hoppen fan and addict, as is evident in every inch of her 'Kelly Hoppen' inspired home. Lisa’s friends have even nicknamed her Little Kelly. Unfortunately, although Lisa has attempted to mimic Kelly's style for years, her imitation hasn’t proved the sincerest form of flattery. Kelly is agog at some of the style mistakes, including purple rooms and Buddha statuettes sprouting everywhere. Kelly comes up with a sophisticated redesign and knocks down a wall to open up the space. As work begins, Lisa’s strong design ideas cause conflict, and idol and fan don’t always agree with each other. Then, to Kelly’s horror, the couple go on holiday in the middle of the building work and things start to go astray.
