Pratigya suggests to the family that instead of getting Shakti re-married they should encourage Shakti and Kesar to adopt a child. Thakurain and Sajjan are furious with her audacity. This triggers a war of words between Shakti and Krishna, and reaches a point when Shakti aims a gun at Krishna.
