A refund fraudster comes clean. He buys expensive products on the Internet under fake names and with fake accounts - from Amazon and Co. He buys PCs, laptops, iPads, cell phones and much more. He then returns, for example, an empty box - or a box that contains a cheaper product . He demands the full amount back and resells the products. Returns fraud appears to be a profitable business model for some. Several fraudsters have been caught in recent years, causing millions of dollars in damages.
