The shootings are linked. Agents, producers: the entourage is jubilant. Brigitte manipulates journalists with charm and skill, but notoriety is more and more intrusive. It is also useful: Brigitte manages to get Jean-Louis, stationed in Germany, to return to Paris to finish his military service away from Algeria. A call from his idol, the singer Gilbert Bécaud, enchants him. The two stars have a crush. Jean-Louis feels betrayed. Mortified, he leaves Brigitte despite her pleas and oaths of loyalty.
