Raquel has a crisis of jealousy. Lia decides to change after having Judah, her fourth son. Zilpa praises her friend's beauty. Rachel deceives herself with false gods. Lia helps Laila deal with adversity. Eliabe asks Lia to help Hananiah. Bila is humiliated by Rachel and steals one of her jewels. Lia helps Hananias recover from her malaise. Saul notes a change in Lia's behavior. Jacob tries to cheer Rachel, who suffers from not having children yet. Lia rages with Zilpa and says she does not have the love of Jacob yet. Raquel asks her husband to impregnate the servant Bila so she can give him children instead. Lia is indignant. Jacob lies down with Billy. The years go by and he has two sons with his maidservant, Dan and Naphtali. Lia says that Jacob must have many children to fulfill God's plan. She then suggests that Zilpa have children with Jacob. Lia persuades Zilpa and the servant has Gad and Asher. Rachel makes a proposal allowing Lia to lie down with Jacob. Rachel is annoyed that she can not get pregnant. The years go by and are born Isaacar and Zebulom. Jacob suggests that Rachel asks God to bear her womb. She asks Lia to speak about the Lord. Lia says she is pregnant again and soon discovers that Rachel is also expecting a child. They give the news together to Jacob, who is radiant. The months go by and Rachel goes into labor. Jacob waits anxiously. Zilpa, Lia and Bila help with childbirth. Little Joseph is born. Jacob is delighted. Lia begins to feel the labor pains. Jacob does not leave Rachel's side. Lia gives Dinah a light. Jacob says that Rachel is without milk and Lia offers to breastfeed her nephew. While telling the story of her past, Lia is ill and Dinah despairs.
