Over a bad debt, Alfredo the gypsy puts a curse on Turner.Turner's health deteriorates and ultimately he dies. At the wake, Turner's friends deliver eulogies in final respect. Alfredo in a fit of conscience pays his debt. Turner rises from the grave to thank him.
