A bloodied woman arrives at the office... she holds Munch's business card tightly in her hand. She has no papers or memories of the last hours of her life. Munch discovers that it is Marie Louvier is a cabaret dancer accused of murdering her boss, Etienne Kieffer, a notorious sexual predator. Munch manages to get Marie released in self-defense. But while the lawyer believes the case settled, investigators discover that Marie Louvier has impersonated another.
