Under the new president, Ishida was appointed as one of the board members. Hirokawa, who began to investigate the origins of the land around the university after Hashimoto's suggestion, realizes that Kouriinkai, Ikoi Town, and even the university are connected by a single line, and confronts Ishida, who seems to hold the key. Disappearing, Rei quits her job as a lecturer and goes to her mother to clear her past. At the Kouriinkai, Nanami is forced to do the dirty work.
