The 2016 BET Awards will be held on June 26, 2016, at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles. Black Entertainment Television honors African Americans and other minorities for their roles in entertainment during the previous years. These awards are handed out annually and are broadcast live on BET This Year, celebrating legendary artist Prince with musical tributes, including Sheila E., The Roots, D'Angelo, Janelle Monae, and much more. Hosting: Tracee Ellis Ross and Anthony Anderson
