This is David Gest

New documentary series following the I'm a Celebrity contestant as he forges a new career in the UK. Since leaving the jungle last year, David has taken up residence in a London hotel. In the first episode he prepares for a date, meets up with old friend Beyonce and attends photoshoots for an advertising campaign

To celebrate his success in the UK, David throws a star-studded party back in Hollywood, where he's soon causing chaos. At one point he goes missing, then worries about being ugly and finally breaks into Michael Jackson's old house, leaving his bodyguards struggling to cope as best they can

Having settled his differences with Liza Minnelli, David sets about finding a house to buy in the Cotswolds. He meets up with old friend Cliff Richard in Paris, and joins Martine McCutcheon, Billy Sammeth, Chris Cowey and Michael Ball on the panel of Soapstar Superstar

Job offers are flooding in and David is happy to be invited to be a judge on Grease Is the Word. Despite his determination to take the showbiz world by storm, a booking to sing at London club GAY leaves his nerves in shreds, and his search for a personal assistant is unsuccessful

David and new girlfriend Malandra Burrows discuss their relationship and plans for a large family. He later joins forces with former Busted band member James Bourne to write a pop song and travels to Los Angeles for a recording session with soul singer Deborah Cox. His final stop is in Belfast to sing with Westlife in front of an audience of thousands

David preaches to a congregation of church-goers in Ireland; a local hates David's dress sense.
