Campaign manager, James Brooks becomes involved with the candidate, JD Harrison's sister, Ashley. Her ex-lover, David Holt applies for a position with the campaign. Holt reveals a dark side.

James reveals his family name. David attacks Ashley. James takes Ashley to meet his family.

JD's wife, Tracey speaks at a political luncheon event. After warning him to stay away, James confronts David. James's ex-wife, Katherine enters his and Ashley's lives.

Upset with James, Ashley refuses to marry him. James steps in to protect David's wife, Karen after he puts her back into the hospital. Ashley is attacked again in her home and James gets arrested.

Gavin calls off the wedding with Carolyn. David gets arrested. Carolyn gets an unpleasant surprise.

David gets a new ally. James and Ashley's mothers get closer. James and Ashley get married.
