Rainbow Brite finds an awesome new friend in Brian, a normal boy from Earth. But when a dark power has plans for Brian, Rainbow must find his purpose to save Rainbow Land.

When Stormy leads an attack on Earth to capture something belonging to Brian, Rainbow Brite mounts up to save him. But what Rainbow doesn't realize is that someone much more powerful, the Dark Princess, has an agenda of her own.

When the Dark Princess takes control of the Ring of Hallow Light and threatens to destroy Rainbow Land, Rainbow Brite knows they are no match for her new power.
