Reviews often gather dust with the police for several years before being seen by an officer. After this, many cases are closed without being investigated. This is one of the many revelations in the series, where officers from all over Denmark reveal a dark and hitherto unknown side of the work as a police officer.

Border control takes up the time of several hundred Danish officers. But in reality it is wasted work, many of those involved believe, because the criminals still cross the border when the police are looking the other way.
