Jill Halliburton Su is killed and police arrest a black man nicknamed Moochie. However, the testimony of the victim's son raises doubts.

Following Moochie's escape, the police organise a massive manhunt as supporters of the fugitive amongst the Black community make their voice heard.

Crystal is arrested by the police and new charges are added to Moochie's file. These new elements cast doubt on his sincerity.
