Menem Junior: The Death of a President's Son

March 1995. A helicopter crash ends in the death of Carlos "Carlitos" Menem Jr., son of popular Argentine president Carlos Menem. As the nation mourns -- and Menem Sr. seeks reelection -- Carlitos' mother Zulema begins to suspect foul play.

While Zulema works to convince the courts that her son was assassinated, a web of lies and corruption begins to emerge around Menem's administration.

Having convinced a judge to reopen the case, Zulema is shocked by new forensic evidence of possible projectiles in the helicopter's fuselage. Later, reports of an illegal arms deal causes Zulema to double down … and cast blame on her ex-husband.

As President Menem's final term comes to an end -- and he begins to face official scrutiny -- Zulema turns to the United States government for help.
