Lah-Lah's Stripy Sock Club

Today is Sunday and everyone in the club knows that's sock washing day except Squeezy Sneezy, who has his days muddled. The band meets Hamed in the park with his tar before helping Squeezy Sneezy with a Days Of The Week song.

Last night Buzz the Bandleader dreamed a special sound, but now he can't figure out what it is. Lah-Lah wonders whether her new friend Miriam playing her kora in the park might be able to help.

Lah-Lah is having trouble finding time to get gifts for the band for Friendship Day. They meet Ross in the park with his soprano saxophone before introducing all the friends In the band with a song, music is a great gift.

The noisy drips from the clubhouse's leaky roof are stopping the band from rehearsing. In the park Lah-Lah's new friend Fernando uses his rainstick to show them that the sounds water makes can be musical too.

The band is trying to play hide and seek but Squeezy Sneezy can't count high enough for the others to hide. Lah-Lah takes the band to the park to meet Pape, her new friend who counts a lot when he plays his talking drum.

Squeezy Sneezy has received an unusual gift from his nanna and is worried that it's too different. The band go to the park where Lah-Lah's friend Deva plays lots of instruments of the gamelan - all different shapes and sizes.

It's Lola's birthday so the band want to surprise her with a ballroom dance at her party. But they have forgotten how to do the dance. In the park Lah-Lah's friend Ben plays a tango on his French horn that jogs their memory.

Lah-Lah is excited to sing Buzz's new song. But Buzz confesses he hasn't written it - he can't find any ideas to get started. Lah-Lah's friend Carlos, playing his charango in the park, tells Buzz that books have great ideas.

Lah-Lah wonders if the band can sing 'a capella', but they are just used to playing music with their instruments. Lah-Lah's friends, a capella group The Idea Of North, help the band make their voices sound like instruments.

Buzz the Bandleader is so eager to rehearse that he has forgotten to use the magic word and is sounding a bit rude. Lah-Lah takes him and the band to the park to meet David, a very polite fellow double bassist.

Mister Saxophone has a new baritone saxophone he's finding hard to play and he won't join the band until it sounds perfect. In the park, Lah-Lah's new bassoonist friend Greg says that mistakes are part of learning to play.

It's Mister Saxophone's cooking debut and he's making a recipe passed down by his grandpa Bari but it's not looking as delicious as he thought it would. In the park, Lah-Lah's new friend Lulu shows the band her pipa.

The band is learning a new dance but Tom Tom is having a lot of trouble, he's got two left socks. In the park, Lah-Lah's new friend Alysa is very coordinated and can play lots of percussion instruments - at the same time.

It's freezing but Tom Tom wants to keep the doors and windows open so he can hear the thunder - he thinks it sounds like a giant drum. In the park, Lah-Lah's new friend Jahmarley can make thunder sounds with his yidaki.

The band can't start rehearsal because Mister Saxophone has lost his sheet music - everything is so disorganised. In the park, Lah-Lah's new friend Genevieve shows how her harp's strings are arranged in alphabetical order.

The new clock that Tom Tom is tinkering on has kept the band up all night with it's array of harsh alarms - he needs to find a lighter sound. In the park, Lah-Lah's new friend shows the band her cute little piccolo.

Buzz is giving the clubhouse a spring clean but when Lah-Lah arrives it is messier than ever with lots of bits and bobs they don't use anymore. In the park, Lah-Lah's new friend Mic can make music with almost anything.

Buzz wants to make a song from the sounds of nature - wind, thunder, cows and donkeys - but the band are not convinced it will work. In the park, Lah-Lah's new friend Nick plays nature sounds with dancing rhythms on his erhu.
