Marina and Benjamín have begun their life with the Fernández family. Marina discovers some of Eduviges and Jesusa's secrets, and with the help of Sister Catalina, she manages to capitalize on them to her advantage.

Graciela is taken by the police to an interrogation room where she is questioned by Manuel. Years ago she was known as Marina, she lived in the Buenaventura Farm with her brother, her stepmother and Jacinto, her father and right-hand man of the boss.

Marina and Benjamín arrive in Mexico City to find out that Marina's aunt died a few years ago. They arrive to live in the Fernandez family's house, but it doesn't take them long to realize that they are a dysfunctional family.

Marina befriends Soledad. Hedwig and Carlos die, which has a great impact on the brothers. Marina has to work to pay for Benjamin's stay at the school and helps the nuns to raise funds for the boarding school.

Marina is reunited with José and has many mixed feelings towards him. For his part, José seems to be in love with Marina and courts her. Marina considers becoming a nun, but is dissuaded by Sister Catalina.

Marina tells Benjamin of her plans to end the Bandit's life. He tells the nuns about Marina's situation. They strip her of her weapon and punish her for a few days. During her punishment, Marina receives a visit from José.

Marina and José get married. Benjamín does not accompany his sister on her journey, he stays at the boarding school to become a priest; although the farewell is difficult, Marina knows it is for the best. Marina and José arrive at Villa's barracks.

Sister Catalina realizes that Dr. Ávila is engaged, although at first she seems not to care, then she begins to get sick; It is clear that the news did not sit well with him. José returns from his commission to realize that Marina is kissing his friend Ramiro, and he gets angry. Marina decides to leave the troop, but is stopped by José, who convinces her that he is going to change for her.

Marieta is saved from the federal police by Beltrán. Marina, Ramiro, José and Martín rescue Marieta and take her and the federal police to Adela. Ordóñez learns that Adela and Marina are helping a federal and visits them to find out what is going on.

Marina blames Pilar for her bruises. Martín confronts Pilar about the attack on Marina. Marina is surprised and José doubts the events. Ordóñez rumors to his men that he had relations with Marina. José finds out and confronts him.

Martín is blamed for the murder of Ordóñez's man and sentenced to death by firing squad. Pedro starts a fire in the dispensary in revenge for the death of his daughter. Marina, Marieta and Ramiro ask Villa for time to find the culprit.

Marina realizes she is pregnant and hesitates to tell José. Ramiro is disappointed because he is more and more in love with Marina. Adela and Antonio kiss and start a relationship.

Marina has an abortion and falls into a deep depression; she asks José to leave the front. Sister Catalina is expelled from the congregation because of the accusations of Dr. Avila's family.

Ordóñez's men viciously shoot Martín and José during the retaking. José is torn between life and death, while Ramiro remorsefully confronts Ordóñez. José dies, leaving all the members of the troop very sad.

Adela is pregnant and tells Marina. She promises to help her with the upbringing of her baby. Ramiro arrives in search of Marina, helps her to get an income behind Adela's back, who tries to bet money playing cards.

Ramiro finds Marina talking to Juan Mérigo and becomes upset. Adela and Sister Catalina question Marina about her new job; she ends up confessing what she does. Juan takes Marina to meet María Conesa.

María asks Juan to be careful with Pablo. Leonor demands to go with the gang to the next robbery, and is upset to see Arturo seduce the maid and the girl. Uncontrolled, she cuts the girl's face and Juan expels her from the gang.

Marina plans to escape with Pifas, but he prefers to stay and face punishment with Juan. Although Adela objects, Ramiro escapes with Marina. She must change her name and chooses Graciela.

Graciela meets Tommy and they plan a trip to meet Al Capone in Chicago. Ramiro is upset about Graciela and Al Capone's relationship and, after arguing, proposes marriage; Graciela accepts, but wants time.

Arturo tells Adela that he learned of Marina's death and she is very saddened. Benjamin and Sister Catalina learn of this and together they plan to do something to commemorate the life of their relative and friend.

Graciela and Tommy consolidate their relationship, although she expresses her desire to return to Mexico. Graciela intervenes in the defense of the women working for Al Capone and shoots the Padrote.

Adela accepts Simón's marriage proposal. Mr. Ornelas gives the keys of the house to Sister Catalina, who with the help of Arturo and Adela, starts the repairs. The doctor confirms Graciela's pregnancy and Tommy tells her to get married.

Arturo apologizes to Adela for the problems he and Leonor have caused her. Arturo tries to make Adela fall in love, and Graciela looks for Ramiro at the hotel to tell him that she wants to return to Mexico.

Graciela goes to talk to Leonor, who later, in the face of Arturo's rejection, commits suicide. Graciela gives money to Sister Catalina for the orphanage. Adela decides to give the ring back to Simón and breaks off their engagement.

Valentina confesses to Benjamín her attraction to Simón. Arturo tells Sister Catalina that he is marrying Adela. Graciela makes Ruth sick so that she cannot make her presentation.

El Flaco visits Graciela and Ruth's business, customers are few and business is not good. Arturo insists to Adela that they get married soon, but she evades him. Graciela suggests to Ruth her idea of hiring prostitutes for the business.

María Conesa urges Arturo to tell Adela the truth. Graciela and Ruth are amazed at his success. Graciela brings some money to Benjamin but he does not accept it. Arturo talks to Adela, and begs her to forgive him, but she does not want to.

With the complicity of the Robust Man, Ruth sells the business and Graciela is prevented from entering. Valentina asks Adela to tell Simón not to leave the country. Graciela and Arturo place the prostitutes in a hotel where they receive clients.

Consuelo (Guadalupe) and Florecita (Alicia) join the work group at the Casa de la Bandida. David Tovar insults Raquel for wanting to leave the business and Bandida reassures her. Marina wants to know her mother's business.

Pedro works at the Casa de la Bandida to pay what he owes. Florecita tells Raquel that she is going to marry Ricardo. La Ninfa enters college where she meets Daniel. Valentina is pregnant.

Catalina attends Dr. Avila's mother's party, where she is treated badly. Graciela sings a song criticizing the president's position and is arrested. Dr. Avila expresses his concern to Catalina because Esperanza has no friends.

Ninfa has to have sex with David Tovar, which upsets Güero. Graciela spends the night in a cell. Valentina loses her son, and Consuelo and Pedro spend the night together. Benjamín talks to Marina about his behavior at the boarding school.

Valentina is still affected by the death of her son. El Güero sets out to conquer the Ninfa, but when he sees her with Daniel, he is disappointed. The Princess is affected when she learns of her mother's death and receives her father's violin.

The women of the League of Decency celebrate because the president's wife is going to receive them. Later, two of them learn that their husbands frequent the Bandit House. Marina continues to lie to her boarding school classmates.

The Blonde Girl gives a dress that Graciela gave to the Princess as a gift. This causes her regret and she tries to prevent Teresa from poisoning The Blonde Girl. But at the auction she faints and is taken to the hospital, between life and death.

The presence of Adela and her children increasingly depresses Valentina. The Blonde Girl recovers in the hospital. Graciela learns that Teresa was the one who poisoned her on orders from the Princess. Antonio visits Marina at the boarding school.

The women of the League of Decency protest in front of the Casa de la Bandida. Graciela uses her influence to get the police to arrest them. Adela has a conversation with Valentina and manages to calm her down.

There is concern about Ordoñez's presence. Antonio disproves Marina to the boarding school classmates, who make fun of her. La Ninfa is taken by David Tovar to Ordoñez's hotel, who cruelly abuses her.

La Ninfa gradually recovers with the support of Raquel and El Güero, but decides to go to college and say goodbye to Daniel without giving him any explanation. David Tovar sells half of the Casa de la Bandida and his business to Ordoñez.

Mother Alicia refuses to receive any more help from Graciela for the orphanage. During the surgery, Graciela talks to the spirits of José and Tommy, this leads her to fight for her life; she successfully comes out of the operation and recovers.

Catalina resigns from her job at the orphanage. Graciela recovers. The police question La Bandida and Ordoñez. The man who tried to kill Graciela goes to the hospital to look for her and generates suspicion in Dr. Avila.

Arturo is upset about the actions taken by Valentina, Graciela and Adela with the man who shot the Bandida. El Güero tells Daniel that he envies him because Ninfa is a great woman. Graciela orders Arturo to get the girls out.

The police watch Graciela at the hospital. Later, Javier explains his situation to Dr. Avila and Catalina. David Tovar does not have enough money to pay the mystery woman for Ordoñez's murder.

Arturo and Valentina get the mystery woman to confess to the police that David Tovar paid to kill Ordoñez. Marina is released from the hospital and is cleared of suspicion. Adela and her children return to the United States.

María Alvarado is very happy about her son's relationship with Edith, Natividad's daughter. Damián talks to his father and Federico decides to take him to Casa de la Bandida. Graciela assigns Resignación to be Damián's companion.

Consuelo steals a brush from the Princess and takes it to Teresa. With this Teresa makes a doll that Consuelo puts in the Princess's room. Max has a threatening conversation with Pedro. He tells him that the Bandida will be for him.

Max continues to insist to Pedro that he will stay with Bandida. Salvador sleeps at Bandida's house, and disguised as a woman manages to leave the next day. Antonio declares his love for Marina; she avoids him because she is attracted to Damián.

Marina is constantly humiliated by Edith in front of the school classmates; she is very depressed but Aurora encourages her to leave the dormitories. She is also upset with Antonio because he kept the truth about her mother's business from her.

Graciela is affected by Marina's reaction to learning that she owns a brothel. Benjamín tries to persuade Marina to forgive Graciela. Marina decides to become Damián's girlfriend. The Blonde Girl protects Salvador.

Marina is expelled from the boarding school, so she returns to live with Graciela, whom she cannot forgive. The girls prepare to receive a famous movie actor in the house.

Salvador is found badly wounded in the kitchen of the Casa de la Bandida; Graciela, with Altamira's help, extracts the bullet. Antonio tells Graciela that he prefers to return to the United States.

Graciela accepts Max's proposal to be partner in the Casa de la Bandida. The senator believes that Salvador is dead. La Ninfa leaves the Casa. El Güero is affected. Marina tells Graciela that she forgives her as long as she takes her to the Casa.

Maria is depressed. She drinks to excess, which leads her to behave inappropriately. She seeks out Benjamin to intercede with the women of the League of Decency, and ends up learning that Benjamin is the Bandit's brother.

The Princess continues her relationship with Miguel and asks him to say that they are dating. Consuelo begins to hallucinate and Teresa attacks her with a knife. Consuelo defends herself and Teresa is knocked unconscious when she pushes her.

Despite María's attempts to sabotage Damián and Marina's marriage, it is celebrated with very few attendees. When The Blonde Girl and Salvador leave the Casa de la Bandida, they are attacked by Senator Ayala's men and Salvador is killed.

Damián goes to work at Federico's office. Marina behaves distantly and argues constantly with María, so she asks Damián to leave the house. Graciela and Catalina notice Valentina's strange behavior.

When Consuelo leaves the Casa de la Bandida she is approached by Max's men. Güero Torres informs Graciela that Consuelo was found dead in what appears to be a suicide. In their own way everyone celebrates the end of the year.

Miguel and Esperanza continue their relationship, although Dr. Avila is not pleased. Mariano has heard Pedro sing, gives him his card and tells him that he is interested in his artistic career. A new prostitute arrives at the house.

Esperanza seeks comfort in Miguel. Later, Avila finds them at his house. He is still upset about the relationship and tells Esperanza. Damián suggests to Marina that they travel to say goodbye to Antonio.

Arturo and Valentina devise a plan to get Graciela out of jail: she tricks Max, accepts to be his wife and thus gets out of jail. Then, in the presence of his wife, daughters and sister-in-law, they get Max to say that Graciela is his wife.

Marina and Damián sign the divorce papers. Damián, devastated, gets drunk at the Casa de la Bandida. Pedro accepts Mariano's job proposal and asks Graciela to marry him, but she does not accept and sets him free.

Dr. Avila confirms to Graciela that she has cancer and has only a few months to live. Graciela visits José's grave and finds Marieta. Time passes, Graciela is very worn out by the disease.
