It’s 11:58 p.m. and Owen has just returned from a whirlwind trip to Europe and … an LA impound lot. He contemplates whether or not he’s in his YouTube era (spoiler: he is not) before launching into a recap of his European vacation. Owen discusses donning a durag for Hermès in France, meeting up with Jared’s mother (and religious IYD watcher—hi Kim!) in London, and fighting off fart allegations on a train to a remote area in France to meet his parents. Then, the narrative turns dark as Owen recounts his journey to find his car after returning home from Europe. He paints a picture of lasting trauma that is honestly still haunting him to this day (as in, he’s trying to find a DMV with lenient driving evaluators). Will Owen ever drive again? They discuss the Boys' new song "California" and the inspiration behind it, and set the record straight on how the name "Elevator Boys" came to be.
