Prime Time

Ramiro del Solar is a respected television journalist and a good family man. But despite his impeccable facade, Ramiro has an affair with Alexia, Olympic diver and best friend of his daughter Jimena. Their secret comes to a tragic end when a prank results in Alexia's accidental death. Ramiro, panicked, tries to destroy the evidence but he forgets to delete a photo on Alexia's phone.

Ramiro uses his status to follow the investigation and find out who the police are looking for. Behind the scenes, the Attorney General calls in a respected criminologist, León, who finds an overlooked piece of evidence at the crime scene. Meanwhile, Ramiro and his colleague, Sami, focus on Marcos, Alexia's boyfriend, and his history of violence.

As Lima pressures Ramiro to support Altamirano's campaign, Ramiro and Julia weigh their options for distancing themselves from the candidate. Platas discovers that León has returned to Alexia's house. After being taken into custody, Marcos willingly offers his fingerprints when he learns that a print has been taken from the crime scene. Meanwhile, Ramiro receives an ominous message.

After Marcos is released on bail, Jimena pushes him to do an interview with his father. Ramiro asks for help digging into his neighbor Pacheco's past. Lima directs a major contract to Bernarda's company. After Sami learns about the doping in Alexia's diving team, Ramiro presses Marcos about it during their interview but the latter draws attention to the fingerprint found.

Despite his offer to provide his DNA, Marcos is sent back to prison. During his interrogation by the prosecutor, Marcos reveals where he was the night of Alexia's murder. A candlelight vigil for Alexia, organized by Jimena and Delia, is ruined by Ramiro's presence. Elsewhere, Platas opposes León's recommendation to take fingerprints from Alexia's family and friends.

Marcos is identified as the murder victim. Jimena announces her intention to move. Figueroa's investigation of Pacheco takes a dark turn after an attempt to obtain information results in Pacheco's accidental death. Ramiro uses his show to try to link doping to the deaths of Alexia and Marcos. Later, he receives a new anonymous message.

Figueroa gives Ramiro a video showing the police breaking protocols at the crime scene of Alexia's death and Ramiro plays it on his show. The video shakes the prosecutor's office. Jimena's investigation of Altamirano reveals that he and Lima are linked through a set of front companies. Additionally, the cybercrime unit identifies a person of interest based on Alexia's social media activity.

Bernarda cuts all ties with Eva and Lima. Platas threatens Ramiro in an attempt to get him to rehabilitate his public image. León seeks to collect the fingerprints of the people around Alexia, which aggravates Ramiro's paranoia: he refuses to provide his fingerprints and León's suspicions are reinforced. Later, Ramiro infuriates Lima by revealing Altamirano's shenanigans during their interview.

The DA's office goes after Jimena after linking her to the IP address. During interrogation, she admits that she was in love with Alexia. Bernarda reveals that she was the one who sent anonymous messages to Ramiro after seeing him in the photo and asks the latter to go find Lima to protect Jimena. Ramiro must make a decision after Rivera decides to charge Jimena.

Jimena is devastated after learning the truth about her father's relationship with Alexia. León informs Ramiro that the police are going to arrest Jimena: he must confess if he wants to save his daughter. Bernarda pleads with Ramiro and he decides to confess everything on his show. As Lima happily witnesses Ramiro's downfall, the latter finds a way to disclose Lima's ties to Altamirano.
