Pregnant heroin addict Sarah must give birth alone after her partner is sent to rehab. Tara and Darren pool their benefits to buy a second-hand tumble dryer. A stranger donates a three-bedroom static caravan for the community soup kitchen. John and Gaz get into a blazing row over Gaz's behaviour. Fred believes his cats are being poisoned and threatens to kill the culprit.

Fred wants to reunite with his ex-wife, but she refuses to see him. Darren wants to be able to ask Tara to marry him, but is she ready to be married? JP will be able to see his children again if he is able to stay off the alcohol. Boo receives a caravan for her soup kitchen.

Gaz and his sister-in-law to be Chantelle try to support each other as they battle their own addictions. JP is determined to straighten himself out in order to win custody of his children.
