Summer 2019. After an incident in Copenhagen's nightlife, Nicklas is unwanted by his Norwegian soccer club. The transfer window is about to close and his agent is investigating several questionable foreign options.

Nicklas enters the FCK dressing room. The fans treat him like a returning savior and the pressure is enormous from day one. Nicklas himself dreams of finishing on top, and everything looks bright.

Nicklas is called in for an interview with Ståle Solbakken, who informs him that his contract will not be extended. The dream of success at his childhood club is extinguished before it has even begun.
