The 2020 Alcoa Tornadoes football season is about to kick off with a quarterback controversy, a fierce first game opponent, and a global pandemic nearly halting their run at a sixth straight championship.

With our primary characters established and the unprecedented playing circumstances, it’s time to see what the team can do. Coaches begin practices and players’ stock will quickly rise and fall.

After a brief recap of our characters and setup, we'll dive into the action of the highly anticipated first game of the season.

The sunsets of East Tennessee are amongst the most beautiful in the country. For the Tornadoes, as each day ends, a new challenge emerges.

The Battle of Pistol Creek is the annual meeting between the Alcoa Tornadoes and their crosstown rival the Maryville Rebels. This year marks the 92nd battle and is shaping up to be the most historic.

Episode 6 will come back on the game action of the Battle of Pistol Creek. The rich rivalry between Alcoa and Maryville comes with a cast of characters in the stands who each have their own take on the significance of the matchup.

The Alcoa Tornadoes have won the Tennessee State 3A Championship for the last 5 years. Under the guidance of head coach Gary Rankin they have secured their place as one of the most successful football programs in the country.

With the Tornadoes capturing a spot in the state title game, emotions are still high as there is still one more mountain to climb in this historic season of Alcoa football.
