Luiz Felipe Barros Martins Rodrigues, better known as Felipe Martins, is a Brazilian actor. He began his activities as an actor in 1978, at Colégio Andrews, in Rio de Janeiro, under the direction of Miguel Falabella and Maria Padilha. In O Tablado, by Maria Clara Machado, he worked in shows with director Carlos Wilson, with whom he made the great success Capitães da Areia, by Jorge Amado and also directed him in 1983, in the show "Os 12 Trabalhos de Hércules", receiving the MEC Troféu Mambembe Award as best actor. Two years later, in 1985, he was again awarded the Mambembe, for his performance in the show "Beto e Teca", by Volker Ludwig, directed by Renato Icarahy, at Grupo TAPA. In 1984, he began his career as a Theater Director.
