Finally, Bernardita told Diana the truth about her mother's death. After a few minutes struggling to speak, Bernardita finally confessed that she was responsible for Ángela's death. She then explained that she never intended to do such a thing. Diana tried to process what she was hearing. After calming down, they both sat down to talk about the situation so that Olivia's therapist could understand how the events unfolded.
