Never before seen in the Alex vs America arena, host Eric Adjepong invites three restaurant teams, consisting of an executive chef and sous chef, to take on Iron Chef Alex Guarnaschelli. With only herself to rely on, Alex will have to outcook acclaimed teams of chefs who have years of experience cooking together. In two rounds, where anyone can be sent home, will she be able to keep up? The expert team of restaurateurs and brothers Michael and Bryan Voltaggio serve as judges for these exciting battles.
