Bastián wanted to know the other side of the story and sought out Diana. He didn't believe his father's version and, knowing what he was capable of, sought out the therapist. He then sheltered the Guerrero family in his own apartment so no one could harm them until the mystery was solved. Clemente regained consciousness after the shooting, and the first thing he asked for was news of Diana. The therapist became a helpless target for his father, and when he managed to speak to her, he reaffirmed his love. Therefore, when Luis Emilio informed him that he would try to send Raúl to prison, his son objected. In fact, he threatened him, saying that if Diana or her family were harmed in any way, he himself would go to the Public Prosecutor's Office to denounce the Walker patriarch. Clemente's loyalty lies with Diana and her just cause.
