Luis Emilio is running out of time to stop Clemente from ousting him from the company, and Omar devises a plan that could help him. Joaquín threatens to withdraw his investments in Grupo Walker if Luis Emilio were removed from his position, but this financial pressure has had no effect on Ignacia's older brother. Clemente confronts the patriarch for using dirty tactics, while he acknowledges that he has always soiled his hands for the family until the end. Surprised, he wants to know if his father is capable of murder. Ignacia talks to Bernardita about her fears of her father's rejection and, at the same time, about the disappointment she feels when he intervenes in her life, to the point of separating her from Karina. Her mother made it clear that, as long as she is under Luis Emilio's tutelage, he will never allow her to live as she wants, and so she encourages her to cut the umbilical cord and find a home and a job without ties to the family.
