Bernardita assured him that everything is already tangled up and didn't hold back: Nacha now knows that her ex's investment was in exchange for marrying her, and that Luis Emilio accepted. The worst part is that she was able to attest to it herself when she overheard her own father discussing the matter with Joaquín. The disappointment of his visit to the hotel with Leonor left a very bad taste in Luis Emilio's mouth.
