Leonor had a pleasant lunch with Luis Emilio, but things grew murky as time passed. His insistence that she drink or go up to the hotel room to sign the loan documents aroused suspicion in the secretary. Out of fear of her boss, she ended up giving in and accompanying him to the room. Omar showed up at the last minute, saying that the meeting with the bank was resuming and that Walker should come down immediately. This prompted Leonor to leave, leaving the men alone together, because Omar had actually come to warn his boss about the employee's relationship with Ramiro Leiva. Santiago agreed to have a conversation with Bernardita; he is still tormented by what happened between the two. He left his family and lost his job for love, but she got cold feet at the last minute. Bernardita wanted to see him to apologize, although she couldn't fully explain what motivated her to throw their relationship away.
