:

1457- The lord of Awa province makes an unholy pact with his dog to save the his clan from certain death. In exchange for the head of his enemy, he lets the animal marry his daughter. In a misguided rescue attempt both his daughter and dog are killed. But as she dies eight spirit beads are released from her knecklace, so begins the legend of the dog warriors.
