Eun Jae is surprised when Ae Ri tells her that her parents have stolen Ae Ri's settlement money. She vehemently denies it, but Ae Ri is already bitter with anger. She compares herself to Eun Jae and says it was wrong for them to do that. Later, Chairman Jung visits Eun Jae and apologizes for suing Kang Jae. He also assures her that no matter what happens, she'll always be his daughter-in-law and part of the family. When he sees that Eun Jae's still anxious, he gives her a lucky necklace.
