Ae Ri walks in and sees Eun Jae getting slapped by Mi In, her mother-in-law. When Eun Jae realizes that Ae Ri was watching, she feels embarrassed and takes her to her room. Eun Jae forces herself to greet her with a smile, and Ae Ri does the same. However, when Ae Ri sees a photo of Eun Jae with Kyo Bin, she gets upset and gives Mi In an expensive gift as she leaves. Meanwhile, Young Soo is practicing for his stage at home when Ae Ri comes in and tells the family about how Eun Jae is living.
