After receiving a beating from angry neighbors because of stealing, Ligaya tries to evict Esperanza from her house but the latter insists on looking for a job. Sandra rejects Consuelo's money and offers to return the hacienda for free but the old woman refuses. Cecille sees an old portrait of two girls while packing. Esperanza goes with Ligaya to the club and defends her from men who try to hurt her.
