Esperanza tells Cecille not to believe anything Joaquin says. Raul sadly informs Esperanza that Joaquin is Cecille's legal guardian, especially in times of grave sickness. The Salgado siblings go to the rental house for Cecille, and Danilo tells Esperanza that Aguirre has got their security covered. At Cecille's discharge, Joaquin approaches the siblings, but Cecille tells him to visit their house instead.
