The people erupt against the freedwomen and violently attack its walls, an opportunity Lasarte seizes to imprison them in the beguinage under the guise of their protection. The beguines, knowing that Lasarte will do everything possible to bring them before the Inquisition Tribunal, decide to escape with the help of Gabriela and Gonzalo. A farewell in which Gonzalo witnesses the kiss between his mother and the Great Lady. Before Lucía confesses that she spent the night with Telmo, Jimena gets Rodrigo to offer Telmo a deal: either he stays away from Lucía, or they will both lose her forever.
