The Bat was a jaw dropping attraction when it first opened at Kings Island in 1981! While not technically the world's first suspended roller coaster, most had never seen or heard of such a thing! But the prototype attraction built by Arrow Dynamics would end up being one of the worst designed roller coasters in history.
