Dolores shows her true face to Cayetano, who faces her without fear but an accident causes her imminent end. Gerardo's sacrifice triggers the manifestation of Bael, freezing the blood of everyone present. Enrique refuses to move forward with the succession and is willing to do anything to protect his family from Bael. Juanito knows that the succession did take place, because even though there are no apparent signs, he is the new bearer of Bael.
