After Soo-yeon sacrifices herself to save Pil-seung and gets injured, Geum-ja finds it strange how Soo-yeon is overprotective of Pil-seung. Soon after, Geum-ja happens to overhear a conversation between Soo-yeon and Ma-ri. Meanwhile, Do-sik gets into a fight with his colleague as he talks about the sponsor scandal of his sister, Do-ra.
