A prostitute working on the street was shot with an arrow and subsequently died. The media attention after the murder brought other victims forward who were able to give a description of the suspect. The investigation showed that all the victims were either prostitutes or had been attacked in known prostitution areas. Detectives were able to locate the suspect through his purchase of the bows and arrows. The defendant chose to defend himself.
