Mrinal is furious at Prithvi after the kissing incident in the court and decides to punish him even more so she takes Sulochana with her to Prithvi's chambers and beat him up with a steel lasso. Prithvi stays adamant on expressing his feelings towards Mrinal even after getting almost beaten to death.
