Darren hires Rod to paint the surgery for him, and then disappears. The launderette gets robbed while Dot is out buying her outfit for The Dagmar's evening party. Derek turns up once again in the launderette and goes for a walk with Pauline, to tell her his friend can't help selling Kathy's jumpers after all.
