Sílvia and Íris exchange insults and go for physical aggression. Iris threatens Silvia with a whip. Pedro stops by Cíntia's shop, but doesn't find her. Márcia wants to help Antonia conquer Laerte. Silvia turns the tables and whips Iris. Cíntia and Severino, very scared, manage to contain the two. Alma complains that Edu is always holed up in his room and it irritates Estela. Pedro bursts into the ward, furious and ends up spanking his cousin, to Cíntia's perplexity. Capitu and Fred have coffee at the bookstore bar. Paul watches the couple. Edu and Helena are excited again. Alma and Gloria arrive at the restaurant.
